Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse Funds Brainstage

Brainstage, Inc. is pleased to announce that is has been funded in part through an investment by The Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse (PLSG), and that Mr. Max Fedor, Executive in Residence at PLSG has been elected a member of the Board of Directors of the company.
 
Brainstage is engaged in the development of  a proprietary advanced-technology bio-informatics solution to help drug discovery and development companies reduce the time and costs of selecting appropriate drugs for investigation.  Its early focus is on Alzheimer's disease related drug targeting.  Eli Lily and Cognition Therapeutics are the first two users of the company's Alpha-1 product.

The company was started in  July 2007 and is led by CEO Anthony Florence and CSO Dr. Donald Doherty.
